Still snowing in Northampton

Can't say I'm surprised - we've had 25mm so far and it's still pouring down.
Garden flooding for first time in many years.

Probably the worst for 8 years, Dave. Drove to the Tube through it
all at around 07.00 - back roads around Brentwood and Chigwell were
all passable, with care, but quite a lot of surface water cascading
down the roads, where I've not seen that amount of surface water
flowing for a long time. Nothing on the scale of the Nov 2000 flood -
when I covered exactly the same journey with immense difficulty and
had to backtrack and try other ways around it all, several times.
