Great morning to be at home.

Sunny with patches of low cloud, giving fog on the moor.
Temp. +6.3C and soaring, could be the warmest day of the year so far today
as it might get above 10C if the cloud stays away (unlikely)! Min. +2.1C
with a ground frost.

Most snow now gone, but some stubborn extensive patches on the moor in
deep gullies.

Some primroses out and one or two bulbs starting to poke through. Grass
and weeds not growing (thankfully) and soil is still very cold (below 5C
at all levels). Unlikely to see daffs by St David's Day this year, indeed
might not see them till April. I'm working on Easter as the most likely
time for start of Spring (according to flowers etc) up here on the cold
moorland tundra.
