8th Feb: 2 weeks ago
9th Feb: 3rd heavy snowfall here in Northampton
17th Feb: At last it was safe to walk on the footpaths without the fear of
slipping over
19th Feb: Still little mounds of snow all over the place where the snowmen
had been standing

No sign of snow around here for the last 3 days.

Footnote: I have experienced more white Easters than white Christmases.
1(1950's)-12 I think. Bunnies with brass balls, anyone?
