Monday with rain gradually turning to snow as the week progresses. I was
wrong about it coming from the east it now looks like it will come from
very cold air from Greenland getting embroiled into an Atlantic low with
the upper trough then sitting over UK. This has happened before this
winter and the ensuing cold spell was not brief. The false Spring is
coming to an end and for some it will be a welcome relief no doubt from
greyness.

could accept that happens and not try and claim success because it is say,
generally cold a couple of weeks either side of what they said and by a
completely different mechanism!
As Scott says, it's not been pleasant here.
