Fairly confident now that the predicted March cold spell will begin on
Monday with rain gradually turning to snow as the week progresses. I was
wrong about it coming from the east it now looks like it will come from
very cold air from Greenland getting embroiled into an Atlantic low with
the upper trough then sitting over UK. This has happened before this
winter and the ensuing cold spell was not brief. The false Spring is
coming to an end and for some it will be a welcome relief no doubt from
greyness.
Really? Brilliant - hoping for an end to the grey as I'd love to take a peek
at Comet Lulin, but all I've had is cloud cover for days
