It is, I believe, one of those awful misnomers. You can see it
here, with the AWS in the mid-left foreground. The site is
two-thirds of the way up Loch Shin, on the southwestern side ...
not even in Glen Cassley.

Its water comes from the River Cassley, hence the name, although it is
sited on Loch Shin which inidectly feeds the Shin hydro power station.
