Default WR SE London -Sc Lenticularis

I assume that is the scientific explaination for the thin high cloud and
strong breeze bringing cooler conditions to the S.E.

Dave

The high cloud has been there all day, and I thought it was pretty thick,
some of the thickest Ci/Cs I have seen for a long time. The Sc didn't arrive
until later, but I didn't detect any lenticularity, maybe for not looking hard
enough and it looked pretty bog-standard stuff and made me think the fine spell
has gone a bit sour, at least here in the SE.
The wind is forecast to veer a bit in the next day or two and this could
make all the difference between relatively cool cloudy conditions and some
rather exceptional warmth.
