Default WR SE London -Sc Lenticularis

I assume that is the scientific explaination for the thin high cloud and
strong breeze bringing cooler conditions to the S.E.

Well I'll refrain from any comments about life as we know it on USENET........almost.

post refers to wave clouds arranged at right angles to the surface easterly flow which picked up
here y'day afternoon.These are likely due to directional wind shearThe RAOB suggests the interface
between this surface flow and the southerly lies ~500hPa,~5500m.Observing the turbulence compared to
aircraft on the approach to London City airport I initially thought they were much lower.
I spose a picture wld help but.....,
