Default An outlandish summer forecast

increasing hunch that this summer is likely to be very dry with long warm
spells interspersed with a few very localised dramatic thunderstorms.

Something in me bones thinks you might be right Will. What you forecast
would be a continuation of the weather regime we have had since autumn
last year.

After two wet summers, long dry spells will suit me just fine, and maybe
the odd thunderstorm to keep the countryside from turning brown and
provide a bit of interest.

The only thing to bugger it all up is a return of westerlies in mid to
late June.

Ah, the good old 'European Monsoon'.
Manage to avoid that it could be a good summer.
If not, average to bad.
