Countryfile is apparently moving to a new evening slot at 7pm
from next week. Assuming it's still going to be an hour long
programme, that means we won't get the forecast until 7.50.

I've been watching the forecast since the mid 80's when it
was still the old 'Farming forecast' from the 'Farming' programme.

Sunday lunchtime just won't be the same again!

According to my Sky EPG, the weather for the week ahead follows the 1200
lunchtime news next Sunday.

Really?
Well they said on Countryfile that they would still be including the forecast
so I kind of assumed that it would be at the end of the programme as it is
at the moment.

Perhaps it will be a 'repeat', a dangerous thing for a weather forecast of
course, under certain conditions

Hope you are right though and it's still shown arounmd midday.

I hope they start using real programme material now that they have
been given an adult slot. I was sick and tired of all the poorly
trimmed rehashes of not very in depth stuff they'd been expurgating
for the last few years.

And if I see another barrel race I will make a point of
excommunication.
