Well depending on conditions I use mine from roughly Spring through to
Autumn. Like Dave (Ludlow) mentioned it's in what is effectively a computer
room. The combined effects of the PC, monitor and a TV generate enough heat
to often have the radiator set very low in winter. Following recent events
and the forecast for next summer ;-) I'm now seriously thinking about a 2nd
unit for elsewhere in the house.

Incidentally I was bemused to read that Currys sold 100 electric blankets
during a 3 day period earlier in the month

during the summer ?!
