The sunshine recorder turned off at 19:55 giving a total of 13.5 hours of
sunshine today which 96% of the total possible and just about as good as it
gets.
Just nudged through the 20°C mark with 20.2°C this afternoon making it the
warmest day since the 12th of October (20.5°C) last year. Overnight min was
4.7°C.
The soil is now quite dry on the allotment, the spuds, cabbages etc needed a
good watering. A drop of rain would be welcome now, the water butts are
nearly empty.
Noticed this morning that the bluebells appear to be at their best now, and
are looking better than ever; fantastic.
