: Does anybody (maybe Colin) have a resonable guestimate of the weather in
: Amsterdam this weekend please ?
UK Met Office forecast chart for 12.00 on Saturday
http://www2.wetter3.de/Fax/00_UKMet_Boden+84.gif shows a low centred over
the Bristol Channel with associated cold front approaching Belgium from the
SW and the Netherlands in a light S to SE flow.
Belgian forecast for Saturday is bright at first, becoming cloudy from the
SW with rain later

KNMI (Dutch Met Office) forecast chart for 12.00 on Saturday
http://www.knmi.nl/waarschuwingen_en...eerkaarten.php shows
the low to the SW of the British Isles and the cold front still over western
France.
KNMI forecast for Thursday to Monday is vague: "Long sunny periods and dry.
From Sunday, chance of a shower, perhaps with thunder. Continuing fairly
warm for the time of year."
Their table
http://www.knmi.nl/waarschuwingen_en_verwachtingen/ shows a
20% chance of rain on Saturday and a 40% chance on Sunday with up to 2 mm
possible on Sunday. Max. temp. 19 to 22°C on Saturday and 17 to 21°C on
Sunday - Amsterdam will be at the cooler end of these ranges.

"Za" and "Zo" are Saturday and Sunday. "Neerslag" (bottom chart) is
precipitation.
I would say for Amsterdam - Saturday: warm and dry; perhaps cloud
increasing from the south later. Sunday: rather cloudy or cloudy; perhaps
light rain at some time of the day but probably not very much; still quite
warm.
