A cool and often cloudy day with rain earlier this morning and showers this

It has come as a bit of a shock to the system after all the warmth and
sunshine.
11.0 mm of rain today brings the total for April up to 44.2 mm, which is
about average for here .
Could be a cold one tonight.

In Penzance, we've had just 100mm in the 72 hours to 09:00 today.
People in Zennor would consider that a drought. My relatives at
Tremedda Farm, right under the Friday night storm deluge, fortunately
only had very minor flooding. Unlike St Ives - victim of the EA's
latest flood relief scheme!
