Also managed to get to Shetland for a few days, and noticed a roadside
marker sign indicating you were at 60 deg north. Set me wondering if
there were similar signs elsewhere in the UK?
I see that the Lizard is just below 50 north, and I'm sure there'll be
lots in East Anglia marking the meridian. Or is Shetland unique?
I think there's one on the Sussex coast (Peacehaven?) marking the
meridian.
