Here's a couple off Bonavista at the end of June 2007. There were dozens
there then.

We visited Newfoundland in '04 and '05. We drove and took the ferry.
On the first trip we went up to L'Anse aux Meadows and over to St.
John's. The next year we went to Twillingate and then worked our way to
St. John's again, where we visited The Rooms, which I believe had just
opened. Bergs were scarce both times, but it was in July so the season
may have ended by then.
