As if by magic the storms (on watching the radar) seem to be skirting
around the South-East dustbowl.
Anyone care to comment on this - it's the third night running now...

Does rather depend what you mean by the SE. Rain met pretty much anywhere
along the A31/M3/M27/A31 to Purbeck and back to Surrey this afternoon and
evening.

Heavy downpour to east of Winchester, round Four Marks, of course, and
along the Hogs Back. Heavy now at Godalming.

Forecast F3 S'ly was 0-1. Rats.

Horrendous rain in Guildford & Woking, I'm just told.

Like Scott says - completely missing the desperately dry areas so far -
only 2.5mm this month - some trees are starting to shed leaves and not
even the start of summer yet. This is getting serious.

Sheesh I must live in a different country. Come up to Dartmoor Dave it is so
green and lush (and damp) ATM. I hope you get rain soon, brown dusty
conditions are not good at this time of year when growth should be vibrant.

Cheers,

Will
