Maximum was 22.2°C, which is the highest of the year, beating 20°C on 24
April - so it's taken a month to better that!

More days like this, please! I know tastes differ, especially in terms
of temperature but for me this was just about the perfect summer's day
(even if it is still May!) and it's a shame this weather isn't going to
last.

Until I'm acclimatised, that's about as warm as I can find comfortable.

I'm generally happy up to about 25°C, given reasonably low humidity, on a
day when I don't actually have to *do* anything - as was the case
yesterday. Temperatures in the teens are all very well if I'm rushing
around getting things done, but I'd find that sort of temperature
slightly disappointing for just sitting in the garden with a book.

Naturally the likes of July 2006 are too much whatever the circumstances!
