I'll try that, John. I uninstalled the CP2102 USB to UART Bridge
Controller from Device Manager , then disconnected the data logger.
When I reconnected the dater logger it was recognised as a USB device
(CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller) and installed itself, but could
find no drivers, even on the Weatherlink CD. so I'll download the
latest version from Davis. And I've not installed any other drivers
recently, and yes it did just stop working. I did expect the CP2102
to also be present in the Universal "Serial Bus Controllers" drop down
in Device Manager, but it is only in "Other Devices"
