After a generally cloudy and muggy morning with just a few brief sunny
intervals the clouds cleared earlier this afternoon and with it a noticeable
drop in humidity making it feel cooler than yesterday despite it actually
being a little warmer.
DP peaked at 14:15 with 14.1°C but by 17:00 had dropped to 8.9°C.
A max of 23.7°C with unbroken sunshine since around 14:00.
This June is not turning out that sunny (1st - 22nd = 155 hours), and if we
do not see a significant improvement in sunshine levels, this month could
end up being duller than average which would bring to an end a run of
sunnier than normal months starting in March this year.
Contrary to how most people around here remember, June 2008 was actually a
sunny and dry month with 233 hours of sunshine and only 31 mm of rain.
Despite the lack of sunshine though, this month is turning out to be warmer
than both 2007 & 2008.
(19:15), 19.6°C, RH 49%, DP 8.8°C, 1025 hPa (F), Wind 5 mph SE.
