Default Today's model interpretation (24/06/09)

Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Sunday. Issued
0444z, 24th June 2009.

A ridge will cover the UK during the weekend and into the first part of next
week. Winds will be ENE'ly or NE'ly generally, leading to cooler conditions
for eastern coastal areas. Elsewhere it'll be largely dry and warm, if not
hot, with humid conditions likely.

ECM shows a weak ridge over the UK on days 5 to 7, with light NE'lies and
easterlies as a result.

England and Wales lie under easterlies, with a high to the north and a weak
ridge over the UK. The ridge persists on day 6, with further easterlies.

and winds fall light. On day 7 a col brings further light winds to the UK.
