Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Sunday.
Issued 0444z, 24th June 2009.

A ridge will cover the UK during the weekend and into the first part of
next week. Winds will be ENE'ly or NE'ly generally, leading to cooler
conditions for eastern coastal areas. Elsewhere it'll be largely dry
and warm, if not hot, with humid conditions likely.

Why would it be hot/humid with winds from the NE?
