Default Otter Valley, Devon - June 28th

Similar story here, just 0.1mm overnight, and nothing measurable

No rain fell here today which was a bit of a disappointment. Though the
upside is that the weeds on the allotment have stopped growing but the
downside is that I am having to water me veggies. Everything has gone mad in
just a week with the swedes, onions etc etc getting bigger by the day. And
the first tomatoes are coming, should be picking those in a few weeks which
is a bit earlier than normal.

Grass going more brown by the day. Has normality returned after the awful
summers of 2007 & 2008?

June to Sept are the driest months of the year here with the LTA average
(1973 - 2000) rainfall between 30 mm & 40 mm for these months. There appears
to have been a distinct 'drying out' of the summer months over the last 15
years or so which suggests that the average rainfall since the 90s is now
even less.

A calm, warm, bright evening with the odd sunny spell.

(19:25), 20.8°C, RH 66%, DP 14.4°C, 1015 hPa (S), Wind 1 mph NE.
