Default [WR] Bewdley - a hot, almost completely dry day

There were just a few fine drops of rain coming down when I went for a
walk around 7pm, although the sun stayed shining. We were lucky to miss
the storms a few hours earlier (see the reports from Droitwich and the
West Midlands below) with no rain at all from that, though it was easy to
see the dark skies to the NE.

We managed 28.2°C, which surprised me slightly, though it did feel that
hot, and the official site not so far away at Pershore recorded 28.0°C.
Certainly the hottest day of the year so far - I think we'll need more
sun to beat it tomorrow, which looks doubtful.
