Where are you? I look at various sites for lightning tracks but a lot
of them miss storms around Powys and mid wales. I can only assume this
is to do with the moutainous nature of round here not allowing RF
signature to propagate out of this area.

If you look at

It does tend to be accurate. For instance you can see loads of events
in mid wales. They appear nowhere else.
