Cor you copped it there Ken. First sign of something nasty on the
ways was the complete loss of DSAT signals about 1730, the lightening
started about 1745 and the rain about 1900 for about 1/2 an hour
giving about 7mm in the tipping buckets.

2" in 40 minutes is going some, 3" or 75mm/hour!
