My grass min has been disturbed every night for the last week
and this morning I picked it up several metres from its pegs. It
presumable catches the light and is an attraction to magpies or
perhaps pigeons. And this despite some minimal protection
which should prevent it being lifted straight out of its supports.
We've had problems like this from fox cubs, Philip.
The grass minimum can be pegged down with a bent piece of coat hanger
sunk into the ground at each end but avoiding the very end.
The concrete slab min is held down anyway by a clip drilled into the
slab by the MO so not a proble.
Thanks, both. Although I improved security, the culprit still managed
to dislodge the thermometer and finally stole the muslin liner from
inside the radiation shield. Since then, no problems!
