Hi, All,
Could this July turn out to be the wettest on my record (1960's) ?
137.2mm so far (09Z16th) and Copley has gone orange for Friday and
Saturday on the Met O warnings. These warnings are usually quite
accurate for us.
Already highest since I began here in 1995, but a bit to go to beat
the 250.4mm in August 2004.
Wettest July around here is 150.6mm in 1988 (Low Etherley site)
Copley still recovering fro the 87.9mm in 2hr 45min on 1st and after a
further 4 days' thunder I don't think the Met O barbecue summer
forecast has gone down too well!
I'll let you know how things go.
