Default Wettest July?

Someone who should have booked a holiday in the Med.

Looks like a pretty reasonable, if warmer than average, summer in the
SW so far. Bloody wet down here today, mind! The consensus amongst my
missus, friends, the neighbours and the dogwalkers is that this summer
has been a good one up to this last week. There were some periods of
really good, sunny and warm weather in the SW in June and early July.
Easy to forget that in this cool rain, though! See what August brings
eh - and really, no-one knows for anything like sure!
