Just a friendly question from a near founder member. What exactly is this
Dawlish thing about? Could someone spell it out for me because I seemed to
have missed it and it's getting on my nerves. Yes he does write long
posts,
possibly he can be a bit arrogant and maybe I don't agree with everything
he
says. But, he's not alone is he over the years and he seems to attract
some
kind of collective abuse.
As I say, he must have done something really bad down the line that I
missed. The good thing and strength of this group, in my opinion, is that
we
do get a few whacky people, or we all say something that is considered
controversial by someone, but they are either ignored or confronted but in
most cases forgiven.

* * * Yes, we get wacky ones such as Lawrie Jenkins and Weatherlawyer
who are both a bit barmy at times but are no problem. *But rude,
overbearing bullies who try to convince you they know a good deal more
than they do are more of a problem and I'm surprised and saddened that
the difference is not immediately apparent to you.

No need to be saddened Tudor, I can perceive the differences, as you should
have noticed over the years. Glad you and "Lawrie" have made up ;-)

I've never actually met Lawrence Jenkins but we have a mutual
friend who always refers to him as Lawrie and says he is "all right"
i.e. a bit nutty but agreeable, something that cannot be said of
certain people here.
