Default Dry Exeter only 29MM

Here in West Molesey, deep in the Thames valley in the driest corner of Surrey,
my total up to Sat. am. was only 13.9mm. I would not bet on having had more
than half a millimetre during the day either. The verdant green grass of August
is now looking rather prairie like again - the very lights rains this month
have simply not penetrated the rain shadow of one largish tree, still well
covered with leaves. So, I was out watering the dahlias today (and I have to
confess - relating to another thread - I then rather wimpishly put the central
heating on...).

Julian Mayes,
Molesey, Surrey.
