Crumbs. But there was no thunder or lightning here (unless it happened
when we were in the curryhouse basement). Is that odd? I usually
associate such downpours with a thunderstorm.

No, though I in fact can do a mean Afghan lamb number when required.
This was the Greenwich Mogul. If you'd read my original post you might
have picked up that we were eating, not cooking!
