Yesteday was the 1st dull afternoon here since 10th, still managed

There are some interesting photos, from a weather perspective, of
Penzance on Cornwall CAM currently.www.cornwallcam.co.uk/
The 2nd down shows the sea breeze front, only just inland.
The 3rd down shows the stratoform cloud over the sea, the mainly blue
area on the coast, and cumulus down the spine of the Lizard, typical
of many recent days. (This is one thing often missed on cloud
predictions, these typically show the cloud lapping onto the coast,
when it often disipates a offshore, before reforming as cumulus over
the land.)
The 5th down shows how quickly the cumulus formed during the recent
fine spell, once the air hit the land. Recent sunshine figures for
Camborne have been vastly different to those on the south coast.
The bottom picture yesterday afternoon, when after what has been a
good spell of weather, it all went pear shaped.
Sunny spells & blustery today. Force 4-5 and around 19C currently
