Cloud looked like it was going to break up about an hour ago with
some blue sky but since become BKN again.
Dithered about going to the coast but decided not to.. Sat image
shows the southern limit of cloud slowly moving N over the Channel.

.... (1040Z/11.40 am BST): beginning to wonder, but here (just inland
from Bournemouth), the ST has finally broken up/dispersed to leave BKN
low-base SC, with CU elements embedded - the merest hint of blue sky
now - fingers crossed!
