Some southerners do seem to have that perception of weather "up north".
It's exactly the same down here in the SW, people down here think that the
SW is the warmest part of the country, er no - that's the SE, especially
London.


I thought SW England *was* the warmest part of the country, if you look
at the yearly mean at least.
Obviously I'm talking about lowland/coastal areas, not where you live
