At last Keith! Though totals are unlikely to provide much soil water
and the rainfall will probably evaporate as the weather becomes drier
later in the week I doubt whether your lawns will green up yet!

Very windy combined with the dryness in South Devon. Dessicating
weather. Good for getting the washing dry though.
