This is remarkable. I was in Istanbul last Tuesday/Wednesday and
really enjoyed the pleasant late summer weather. In fact as we took
off I commented to my colleague how parched the land looked
surrounding the airport. How things can change in a matter of days.

A week late, sorry, I'm just 10k north of the Turkish border in
Bulgaria, and had nearly 90mm in three days
