The reason I Saudi that Jim was this: at least in the 'west' the money goes
back into the economy as the oil companies are just that companies. In Saudi
Arabia however all that oil belongs to a few families who make sure they
keep it and the vast unimaginable fortunes that go with it. They have
inherited through no ingenuity of their own vast trillions of dollars that
the rest of us have to risk massive research and investment to get that
stuff out of the ground.
