BBC's Look East did a summary of September's weather last night, and
Northampton had 17mm for the month. Bedford had 8mm, given as 15% of the
normal. Chelmsford had 36mm with 25mm of that falling on one day (15th).
Just shows that what rain any of us had last month was definitely local in
nature.
