When the forecast goes wrong as badly as it has today, Monday 26th
October, I realise just how good they are normally. Today having been
promised sun, I looked forward to some enjoyable gardening. Sure it
didn’t rain, but it was unremittingly cloudy and judging by the light
levels, that cloud wasn’t thin. It was a rare bad forecast, so
unusual in fact that I am moved to comment on it.
The change to GMT must be to blame:-)

Bad luck. It was a beautiful day in my part of Surrey.

"Well, actually, they're American."
"So what brings you to Britain then if you have cornflakes already?"
