Default [WR] West Moors/E.Dorset .. night 14th/15th NOV

.... periods of moderate or heavy rain last night .. woken around 01Z
by an extended 'rumble', which at the time I couldn't decide was
thunder or an aircraft departing Hurn; having looked at the 'sferics
this morning he-

http://andvari.vedur.is/athuganir/el...i_dag_na.html?

it looks as if I did hear a genuine thunder roll: extended for at
least 3 or 4 seconds, deep / low frequency (hence my wondering if it
was an a/c), and distant.

Rainfall last 24 hours to 09Z this morning = 12.1 mm / ground soggy.

As Hurn is still firing 'trace' rainfall amounts, I'll list my
rainfall readings here and keep it rolling until the problem is fixed:
we catch, based on only 2 years data, roughly 6% *more* rain than
Hurn. Whether this is a genuine 'climatological' difference, or simply
due to our poor exposure I'm not sure.

24hr periods FROM: .... (i.e. standard climatological rain day)

11th: 5.4 mm
12th: 22.0 mm
13th: 12.6 mm
14th: 12.1 mm

Month's total currently:- 68.1 mm (69% of eLTA 1971-2000)
