The shed roof took a 25 yard+ flying lesson down the side of the house
clean over a 6' wall, across the road and clipped the 4' drystone wall
the other side. Fun clearing the road of the debris and rescuing
things from the shed that wouldn't appreciate getting wet.

Today's max was 10.4 deg C (AWS). Max gust still only 25 knots...

7.3C up here, very little wind max of F4 odd gust 20mph (17kts).
Starting to get a bit chilly if you are out had to put a fleece and
wind proof on this morning to ward of the -5C wind chill.

I experienced force 10 (possibly even 11) on Hay Tor early this year when I was
blown over out walking and couldn't get up again and had to move on hands and
knees to a safe spot. To be honest wind scares me a bit up here as there is
nothing you can do, rain and snow I can cope with (and even enjoy) but wind, I
admit, makes me anxious.
