Just got a chance to see that Keith I hope the 18z is onto something with
regards a long sustained cold period, In fact it marrys uop with what Joe B
said about the NW being less cold because in the SE the cold certainly
lingers. Hold on what am I saying, I promised never to trust the GFS ever
again at that range. However its interesting to see the GFS change its tune
for the Christmas post Christmas period, lets hope its sensing reality
rather than fantasy.

Not far of a frost here in SE London just below 3c at the moment, I just run
my son back home and you can almost see the cold air if that makes sense.
