Turning particularly chilly in Helsinki now and interestingly
Amsterdam with a maximum of -1.3°C, I wonder if fog was involved here?
Still somewhere to go before any advection will have a marked affect.
Thanks for that Keith - the IR animations for Scandinavia show the push
of deep cold air pushing down (As Will forecast!!) and hence the rapid
plunge in temperatures.
Paris was also pretty cold - perhaps fog or low cloud.
