Meto advisory out for snow in the east and SE.

Sorry jochta - you got there before me!
The gfs 12z shows some unusually cold air being advected over England
and Wales on Friday, behind a trough sinking southwards over the SE.
If there is precipitation, it would be snow with -10c 850hpa air
over us and that little low could produce not just a covering, but
some significant snow in SE England, perhaps extending (crossed
fingers) further West on Thursday night into Friday. Looking very
interesting at less than 48 hours away!
