After Will's mention of the low deepening and my temperature rising,
now 1.0°C with a dewpoint of -1.0°C, my last post was a reading of
1005.5, quarter of an hour ago, it is now 1005.2mb and falling fast.

Now *that* is interesting. Thanks Keith.
Your wet-bulb is now zero I note!

Will

Not sure where you're getting that from Will:
Temp 1.1°C
Dew Point -1.0°C
Barometer 1005.1mb Falling (21:20)
Wind NW now 16 gusting to 30mph
What's going on?

You've lost the cold advection near the low centre and the sea is
keeping the air temp up. But it is the wet-bulb you need to worry about,
i.e. if the dewpoint goes up. Once it starts precipitating heavily your
temperature should fall down to 0C. Lighter precip, may start as rain
though.

Will

Ok, snowing heavily now, temp 1.1°C, that band on the top LH edge has
moved in from the NE. 1.0°C as I type Dew point -1.1°C
Now 0.9°C...
Now what Ostend Airport atm?
