west. We're in the sleet phase now, but it was still rain when you
first reported sleet...

You may have just missed out then Nick, it was very marginal here,
even in the heavy snow. 6 miles down the road in Lee-on-the-Solent I
am told that there is no accumulation; here there is a 100% covering
of slush some of it with a thin soft snow topping.

Currently the heavy snow has turned to moderate sleet but it hasn't
yet shifted the slushy snow cover so if it freezes.... ouch!

Temperature +0.3, moderate light to sleet.
