Temperature +0.3, moderate light to sleet.

Currently light to moderate rain, +0.3deg C, slush has compacted on my
wheelie bin, it's hard to stick my finger through it and is either
freezing or about to... the rain isn't really shifting the slush not
even on the side roads.

After I last posted it turned to a mix of rain and sleet, with another
brief spell of snow just before 1700.
At the moment of the solstice (1747 apparently) it was wet and cold.
As appropriate as any I guess.... I'd be willing to bet that for a
combination of rain and cold, this could, appropriately be enough, one
of the wintriest days of the winter in these parts.
