Default Can this volcano's climate cooling be detected?

Typically, large volcanos inject dust into the stratosphere, causing
climate cooling for a year or two. *That signal should be detectable
in the published global temperature series, both surface and
satellite. *We'll have the data in about a couple of years. * *Stay
tuned and see.

Glad that you are coming around to the idea of geoengineering. *Yes we
can beat global warming--using technology. *Kuznets curve again Roger.

(Gee whiz! What a moronic reply!)
No Ray! This isn't a pug for geo engineering.
No one can afford to create the equivalent of a
major volcano eruption several times a year.
Nor could human civilization live long in the
permanent global famine such a scheme
would create.
