Default Why so mild in the SE tomorrow/Tuesday/Wednesday?

Seem to be some surprisingly high predicted temperatures for several
of the next few days in the SE. Tomorrow the wind seems to turn NW,
which suggests that the SE should be colder for two reasons - the
offshore wind, and NW being a fundamentally reasonably cold direction.

Then Tues/Wed has an ESE or ENE wind - whether it's cold enough for
snow or not, I'd still expect it to be cold - yet the forecast
particularly for Tuesday suggests average-to-mild.

The Met Office long term forecast for the new year though is a bit
more cold-tending than the GF

Sorry posted too early: meant "a bit more cold-tending than the GFS".
